What we want to
strengthen together.
Technology moves fast. Our understanding must keep pace.
AI Alliancen connects municipal experience, research and technical insight — and turns it into shared knowledge.
A community across disciplines
AI Alliancen is an independent community of practice for people working with AI in and around Denmark's public sector. It brings together municipalities, public organisations, researchers and technical practitioners around questions that no single discipline can answer alone.
We aim to connect an understanding of public services with knowledge of what the technology can and cannot do. Different perspectives should help us understand where AI is relevant, what it takes to use it, and when other approaches make more sense.
From local experience to shared capacity
Much of what we learn comes from practical work: testing an idea, changing a workflow or seeing how a solution performs in the real world. That experience can be valuable well beyond the organisation where it originated — even when the experiment did not deliver what was expected.
We share presentations, practical experience, articles and resources so the conversation can continue between meetings. This means sharing solutions alongside their prerequisites: data, technical choices, organisation, security and operations. Our ambition is to help more people build on each other's learning instead of starting from scratch.
Stronger public-sector judgement
We want to help the public sector make informed decisions about AI and turn relevant opportunities into responsible practice. This takes more than access to new tools. It requires critical questions and attention to citizens, staff, quality and resources.
We examine technologies and approaches on their merits, not to promote particular vendors. The goal is shared AI capacity: the ability to assess, test, adopt or decline — and to keep learning as technology and public services evolve.
