Astrid Askehave

IT Project Manager · Frederiksberg Municipality

Astrid Askehave works in IT project management at Frederiksberg Municipality. Her professional focus is the relationship between a digital solution and the workflows that sustain it in everyday use. In 2025–2026, she led the implementation of Digitale Tavler (Digital Boards) and work to establish a shared documentation practice across care homes, home care and residential rehabilitation.

The project encompassed both the technology and the collaboration around it: staff involvement and learning, management support and integration with day-to-day operations. Astrid worked with a project group, a steering group and healthcare professionals who provided specialist input. This offers a concrete picture of her experience in coordinating different disciplines and connecting project work with practice.

In her reflections on the project, she highlights a shared overview, documentation and a common professional language for triage and early detection. Her approach is that new technology should support staff expertise and their dialogue about the work. She therefore brings implementation experience from a public-facing service area where organisational adoption and information management are central to digitalisation.
