Astrid Vestergård Greulich

AI Adviser · City of Copenhagen · Corporate IT

Astrid Vestergård Greulich works in AI advisory services within the City of Copenhagen's Koncern IT. She identifies and connects AI opportunities across the municipality, drawing on both technical and organisational needs. In a previous role as Product Manager in the strategy team, she worked with the municipality's seven administrations to understand their differing requirements and identify relevant technological solutions.

Her educational background is in mathematical modelling and computing at DTU. For her thesis, she worked on machine learning and text mining of financial reports in collaboration with Alipes Capital. She has also listed certifications in Azure Data Science and SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager. This combination grounds her profile in analytical methods, technological understanding and product work, where professional needs must be translated into priorities and a shared direction.

As part of the municipality's AI competence community, she has described work on the GPT solution K-AI and the internal AI-HUB. The hub brings together guidance and inspiration to help employees use the solution and its associated specialist assistants. The assistants use RAG, retrieving relevant knowledge sources to inform their responses. This is an example of shared platforms that can support the needs of different professional disciplines without making access unnecessarily complex for users.

She also works on Copenhagen's modular AI setup and its technical and organisational maturity. Her approach therefore connects questions of architecture with the municipality's ability to organise and use the technology. Within AI Alliancen, she contributes experience from a large, diverse organisation where shared solutions need to accommodate many different tasks and professional perspectives.
