The people in AI Alliancen
Christoffer Lindved Dithmer
Digitalisation Consultant · KL
Christoffer Lindved Dithmer is a consultant at KL working on AI and digitalisation policy. His work connects municipal practice, learning technology and the organisational frameworks for AI. He is a contact person for the Municipal AI Map and the Municipal Network for Learning Technology, where experience from municipalities and schools contributes to shared knowledge.
His background is closely connected to teaching and practical guidance. As an IT and makerspace adviser in Vallensbæk, he described an approach in 2022 in which technological understanding develops through the everyday work of staff and pupils. This included joint planning, teaching alongside colleagues, peer support between advisers and follow-up. The focus was on connecting technical opportunities with specific teaching needs, rather than treating the tools as an end in themselves.
In KL's communication about generative AI in primary and lower secondary schools, he similarly highlights the importance of subject context. In an inspiration catalogue featuring examples from eight municipalities, he describes how teaching staff provide chatbots with relevant material and set requirements for their responses so that their use supports teaching objectives. This grounds his AI work in staff professional judgement and the task at hand.
He also jointly manages Fremfærd's work on AI that strengthens public welfare services with Dorthe Storm Meier from OAO. The project's material, Fælles om AI, brings together case studies, knowledge and dialogue tools for managers and staff across state schools, elder care, administration and urban development. This work aims to establish a basis for shared discussion of opportunities, challenges and prerequisites, so that AI can be explored and used with attention to the core task and workplace collaboration.
