Mathias Villads Bech Haugegaard

Mathias Villads Bech Haugegaard is a co-founder of Promte and works on translating AI technology into practical applications within organisations. His educational background at Copenhagen Business School focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship, including the development of new solutions and managing organisational change. He helped establish the company in 2023 alongside the other founders.

As the company has developed, he has worked on the connection between the product and public-sector users' needs. In an interview with DigitalLead, he describes how dialogue with Gladsaxe Municipality became the starting point for Promte's first public-sector collaboration. He also highlights a shared library where organisations can share their own AI solutions. His focus is therefore both on individual applications and on reusing work across municipalities.

In KL's case study of Kalundborg Municipality, Mathias helps explain the single entry point to the municipality's AI tools. Here, functions such as assistants, interpreting and meeting documentation come together in one user experience. His work on AI applications also includes practical guides describing how employees can work with their own documents, internal guidance, draft texts and information for residents.

This communication shows an awareness of tailoring AI to the task: an assistant for an internal handbook serves a different purpose from a chatbot about municipal services or a translation tool. Mathias thus connects innovation and product development with accessible explanations of workflows.
