Thomas Martinsen

Thomas Martinsen is a Tech Evangelist and strategic adviser at Twoday. He helps organisations turn AI ambitions into priorities, architecture and responsible implementation. His work focuses particularly on the early decisions, when models, data, platforms, governance and security need to fit the organisation's needs and circumstances.

His technical background includes programming and many years working closely with Microsoft technologies. He began his career as a banking adviser, and an organisational and financial perspective remains part of his advice. Twoday also describes him as holding the Microsoft distinctions AI MVP and Regional Director, and as having helped establish a .NET community in Copenhagen in the early 2000s.

One of his professional themes is agent-based software development. He describes an approach in which a shared specification supports collaboration between advisory work, UX, development and quality assurance, while AI agents play an active part in the development process. In his view, this changes not only code production but also teamwork. Shared direction and continuous iteration become central when people and agents contribute to the same development process.

Alongside his external advisory work, Thomas contributes to Twoday's Danish and international AI initiatives. Here, he works on skills, shared working practices and frameworks for use. Knowledge sharing is a recurring part of his profile, both internally and in developer communities, where technical experience is made available to others.
