Nicklas Fledelius works with IT and business architecture at Vejle Municipality. Nicklas has described how different employees find different uses for the same tool, and how curiosity and practical experience can make the technology relevant beyond those with a particular interest in technology.
His work with digital assistants did not begin with generative AI. He has also described the introduction of a telephone bot in Vejle's IT department, which could help employees outside normal opening hours and create a service desk ticket if an enquiry required follow-up. This gives his profile a practical perspective on the relationship between automation, service processes and handovers to people.
He has also worked with RoboRef and shared Vejle's experience of the joint development process across municipalities and the local roll-out. Together with a colleague, he presented these experiences at SKI Summit 2025.
